Hey everyone! My name is Niobe Sikkema and I am glad to be serving as Head Cook at camp this summer!
At camp you can call me Cheers! since I'm a big believer in celebrating all of life's little triumphs and the greatest, constant triumph of our lives - that we belong to a loving God who died to save sinners. I am blessed to have education in the culinary arts, having finished my certificate program this past December, and am excited to use my experience and passion to keep hungry campers well-fed.
I love trying new things, getting lost in antique or thrift shops, and noticing God's majesty in both the subtle and grand moments in nature.
When packing for camp this summer, don't forget a hearty appetite!
