Our Program
During the summer we host several integral, weeklong, camping experiences.
Anchor Camp
Sprouts Camp: August 9 - 11
An introduction to the joys of camp life, with Bible stories, singing, crafts, and campfires. For ages 5-7.
Discovery Camp: July 10 - 16, July 17 - 23, July 31 - August 6, August 14 - 20
A camp for discovering more about God, His Word and His amazing creation. Look forward to days bursting with a wide range of fun-filled activities. For ages 8-12.
Teen Camp: July 24 - 30, August 21 - 27
A week fostering spiritual growth and shaping leadership potential through a whole range of challenging and exciting activities. Be prepared for a week that will encourage you spiritually, and stretch you physically and socially. For ages 13-16.
Service Week: August 7 - 13
A week designed for serving the disadvantaged in the inner city of Hamilton and Toronto, in conjunction with Streetlight Ministries. Activities may include such things as volunteering at soup kitchens, food banks, drop-in programs, and hospitals. We hope to foster an educated attitude in the leaders towards the broad spectrum of needs in our society and to encourage the practice of Christian service in their home communities. For teens aged 16-17
Wilderness Camp: August 8 - 13
Come and canoe into the rugged wilderness of northern Ontario. Experience the vast wonder of God's creation, canoeing, swimming, fishing and studying God's Word. This program starts with a day of canoe training before the departure into the wilderness. Limited to eighteen gritty and adventurous teens aged 13-16.
Redeem the Frosh: August 31 - September 3
18-23? Attending university or college? Do you want to learn how to defend your faith in a secular environment? Mark off August 31st - September 3d on your calendar and get ready to learn from amazing speakers how to stand firm in your faith in today’s hostile world. More details on the Frosh Week website.

Registration
For each child going to Discovery, Teen, or Service Weeks the fee is $255. For the Sprouts Camp the cost is $130 for each child. The fee for Wilderness Camp is $290. Cheques must be made payable to "Campfire!". All prices do not include HST.
In the spirit of the early church, we have instituted a suggested fee policy. All contributions greater or less than the suggested amount will be gratefully accepted as payment of the participation fee. Let each of us consider what we have not to be our own, but a gift from our Father, for the benefit of all. No child will be turned away if a family does not have the means to pay the fee. The camp or another individual will cover the child's cost. Please note that Canada Revenue Agency does not allow the payment of registration fees to qualify as a charitable donation, even if made on behalf of a non-family member. Accordingly, a payment receipt will be issued to you confirming payment of registration and transportation fees. You may wish to consult with your tax advisor whether such payment can qualify as a childcare expense for income tax purposes.

The Summer Camp Wellness Red Sheet must be downloaded, filled out, and sent along with every child. It is very important for the nurses.

Bus Service:
Bus service will be available from the following locations. Cost is $20 per child/per way for the first 2 children in a family and $10 for each additional child per way. The bus fee will be subject to 13% HST.
If you did not indicate bussing on the registration form, and would like to use the bus service please contact 905 296 5297 or as soon as possible.
